Though I'm nowhere near the 75th article point, I relate to this. I often question whether I write because I truly want to or because I think I should because I've always identified as being a writer. By the end your article, I think I made it one step closer to solidifying that it's the former- that I do get quite a lot of satisfaction from writing, no matter the money or views I get from out, or lack thereof. The money and impact are only a small part of the equation, so at this point they would just be a bonus.

As a side note, I really liked the 2nd person voice you used in this article and the overall tone - it reminded me a bit of Chuck Palahniuk and I love it.
